Testosterone Honey - A combination of healing herbs to revive the body from common fatigue and lowered vitality brought on by loss of testosterone. This supplement raises low levels of testosterone by using wildflower honey with Ashwagandha, Macuna Pruriens, Maca Root, and fresh Ginger.

Ashwaghandha –  Also known as withania somnifera, Indian ginseng, and winter cherry; ashwagandha is a natural herb and adaptogen that’s been proven to stimulate and regulate testosterone production. In doing so, it can help you lose body fat, build lean muscle (when you work out), decrease cholesterol, and prevent premature ejaculation. And it’s the adaptogen element that we’re most interested in, as the role of adaptogens is to help your body deal with stress and anxiety. Now, a little stress and anxiety won’t do you any harm. But long-term, they are known to stunt testosterone, encourage weight gain, and trigger erectile dysfunction. Ashwagandha has a long history of being used in Indian medicine (Ayurveda) to treat male ailments, both physically and mentally, as it can help your body to adapt and deal with stressors that can impact your virility and vitality.

Fresh Ginger –  The mainstream of research linking dietary ginger to testosterone has revealed that ginger or ginger extracts have an impact on testosterone, as testosterone production was enhanced upon ginger supplementation. The mechanisms through which ginger enhances testosterone production are mainly by increasing LH production, increasing the level of cholesterol in testes, reducing oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation in the testes, enhancing the activity of certain antioxidant enzymes, normalizing blood glucose, enhancing nitric oxide production and increasing blood flow in Leydig cells, increasing testicular weight, and recycling testosterone receptors.

Macuna Pruriens –  Velvet bean,” as it’s often called, contains extremely high levels of L-DOPA, an amino acid that our bodies use to make dopamine. It’s a powerful neurotransmitter, playing a role in how and when we feel pleasure while also affecting movement, focus, and memory. Now, the dopamine burst provided by Mucuna supplementation can alone account for tons of beneficial effects. For instance, elevated dopamine can suppress prolactin, the hormone that causes lactation in women. It also stimulates GnRH release from the hypothalamus, and reduces both the presence of and the damage caused by elevated cortisol levels. This makes all of our systems function more efficiently, including those that power our sex organs. To get a bit more to the point, multiple studies have shown that L-DOPA has the capacity to be a coactivator to androgen receptors, actually enhancing their ability to uptake testosterone and DHT. The results are free testosterone and increased Leydig cell activity.

Maca -  Maca root, also known as Peruvian Ginseng, was cultivated for medicinal purposes as far back as 3,800 B.C. and was so highly thought of throughout the ages that it was offered as a gift to the Spanish when they first landed in the area. Maca grows at an incredible 7,000 – 11,000 feet above sea level. That’s an altitude no other cultivated crop can survive at. It’s probably due to the extreme altitude it grows at, which causes the root to be so chock-full of phytonutrients important to testosterone production.
